Notes & Combos
Got this idea from someone on the discord and I've been in love with it ever since. It evolved a lot over the course of my climb, starting off with things like susurrus and other spells even, but anything other than the main spells like here just make hands worse.
While the snake eye combo is a one card one, white forest obviously needs spells to send so drawing searchable but suboptimal spells without a way to send them isn't worth it. So those slots basically transformed into chicken game/wraithsoth/black goat.
I kind of want to play thrust/fucho because a handtrapped board of this is kinda weak to tenpai.
I have games where I have both engines rolling, but also sometimes just one of the two. While they don't go into one another pretty much at all, except two 1's being potential material for a synchro 6, they do compliment each other. Snake-Eyes providing spells to send, and most importantly they bait interaction for the other. Going second, white forest threatens silvera, then an ash/diabelstar jumpscares zeal otk. More often, SE starters do a lot of the heavy lifting and it's possible to get an uninterrupted astellar on the field.
A weak point of the deck is needing multiple normal summons sometimes, which I have 7 of in total (bonfire CAN work without ofc), but it's no different from any other deck with a single engine that has 7 normal summons as well. ALso I cut all 10 synchros but baron even when chaos angel comes up rarely, I'd rather have more links.
Selene makes things like diabelstar send a white forest normal summon revive possible.
45 because the deck does have quite a few bricks. Oak, rucia, the two big snake eye monsters, and temple is only good on it's own if you get interrupted on your snake eyes and can get two level 1s in the grave to then send flamberge with elzette or something. Shoutout to me drawing ash and poplar together a few games in a row once.
Astellar's gy effect also procs on ash/oak, but only if you only send actual spells because text, which in this deck is only the field spells. Comes up in grindy situations where I'm trying to get as much bodies as possible for an otk with the link monsters.
Thanks for reading all my yapping.

I have a few replays with the deck, where the things I mention even come up, but still had little suboptimal plays lol.
