Notes & Combos

Hello everyone, fellow Magicians! I have to say this format is truly a struggle due to the 6-9x Maxx "C". Unlike the previous season, I didn’t enjoy the climb at all, and I hope they do something about it soon (ban the roach) or I might try a more control-oriented version if I have the will to climb to Master 1 again.

I’m still playing a similar strategy compared to my list from last season, but I found myself forced to drop the triangle (Circle and Eternal Soul) to make room for Called by and Fuwalos. I didn’t like the change for the reasons I mentioned in my last Master 1 list, but as I said, it was necessary due to this format.

That said, Yubel was the most popular matchup, and there are still Tenpai players on the ladder. I didn’t track my stats from D5 to M5, but I’ll do it if I feel motivated to go for M1 again.
