Notes & Combos
Marincess is a mid-range Cyberse Combo Deck which is decently positioned in the current MD-Format. Recent support card "Trickstar Aqua Angel" made this deck way more consistent and stronger into interrupts. Looking into your opponent hand before you combo can be toxic ngl
Pros:
-super consistent due to all marincess monster beeing a one card combo and each additional name lets you extend -Alot of nonengine -engine is very strong in handtrap wars -strong into handtraps aswell as boardbreaker -good grind/ follow-up
Cons:
-engine is not good at breaking full boards -your engine dies to *Maxx C * -your endboard is not an ftk -you die to certain floodgates ( but most decks do i guess)
Deckbuilding:
-you max out on all the good names -2 Pascalus: Good card, GY effect is busted, but sucks to draw in multiple and plays terrible into maxx c -you only need one fieldspell and one marincess wave -2 dive : can be cut to one but second dive comes up alot in turn 3 and handtrap wars. decent to draw
if you want more engine/names you can play 3 pascalus or consider "Marincess Basilalima" or "Marincess Mandarin" at 1
-Spell card "monster reborn" is optional. it offers a lot of flexibility and plays in this deck but can be replaced with additional HTs or TTT
The Handtrap lineup changes depending on the meta. Full Maxx "C" mini game package is mandatory in this deck.
Stealth Kragen and Crystal Heart might be cutable but i like them atm into Tenpai. Stealth Kragen is also your only real play under Macrocosmos Dweller, Eria the Water Charmer and a second Bubble Reef are notable extradeck options if you find yourself finding space
bare minimum gameplan breakdown:
Your Coral Triangle GY effect is broken. if you go first you always try to summon it and search wave. If you survive one turn and resolve its GY effect, u most likely win. Going second you boardwipe them by waterlocking yourself and resolving zealantis effect and try to control game from there or even kill.
